Active Yoga
Join YM founder, Nancy Ruby, in a practice that will reawaken your capacity to learn from and through your body. Combining a dynamic flow of postures, exploratory movement, pranayama and meditation, you will naturally enhance structural alignment, flexibility, core strength, inner peace and clarity of mind.. Gentle Yoga
Gentle repetitive movement allows the body to remember how to relax while opening joints, awakening muscles and releasing tension. Specifically recommended for those living with arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic pain and/or limited range of motion.

WHAT IS YOGA THERAPY ?

Yoga Therapy is a wholistic healing modality offering alternative health care to individuals and small group settings. Techniques in yoga, meditation, breathwork, visualization and deep relaxation focus on the overall well being of the student placing equal emphasis on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual dimensions of health. In the private setting, bodywork is also an optinal modality including neuromuscular and deep tissue massage

Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is an ancient profound path back to your authentic self. That part of you never touched by stress, trauma or outside influences. The English translation is Sleep of the Yogi, restful yet very aware. You will be guided through 10 layers of ever deepening relaxation. This technique has proven successful with people from all walks of life. Yoga Nidra has benefitted everyone from the homeless to soldiers, those in pain to students needing to center themselves.

PreNatal Yoga
This class provides an opportunity to deepen your awareness of your body that is now a home for two. We combine stretching, toning, breathing and relaxation techniques to offer relief from common discomforts of pregnancy while strengthening the body, mind and heart in preparation for labor and birth. Every class provides an opportunity for sharing and discussion. Classes are on-going. No previous yoga experience necessary.

Spring Forest Qigong - Balancing Energy
During this 30 minute Qigong practice session you will be guided through simple, yet powerful Qigong active exercises that help balance the energy in your body and release blockages. $5 per class ...Kris 587-6351

Restorative Yoga Returning in Sept
A quiet, inward practice that soothes the nervous system, quiets the mind, and opens the physical body. Postures are held for 5 - 15 minutes fully supported by props. Breathing techniques are also taught and practiced. Restorative Yoga gives us an opportunity to tune into the physical sensations of our body, and the fluctuation of our mind states so we can release them and come into contact with our True Self or Spirit.

Prana Vinyasa Yoga Returning in Sept
An energetic, creative, full-spectrum approach to embodying the flow of yoga. Students of all levels are empowered to experience prana - the universal source of breath, life-energy and conscious intelligence as the navigating source of yoga practice and vital living. This class will open new pathways of creativity, flexibility and strength to giving you tools you need for conscious daily living.

Nia - Mind/Body Cardio Movement Returning in Sept
Nia is an expressive movement practice that uses The Body's Way to nourish the body, mind and spirit. Nia's barefoot, grounded approach maximizes body efficiency and teaches you to consciously move with more joy and freedom. Rich in diversity, Nia is the oldest form of fusion fitness, textured with concepts and philosophies from the world of dance, healing arts and martial arts. Nia is fun!
